Return and Refund Policy

At IMOP, we strive to provide high-quality customer service. Our returns and refunds policy sets out the applicable conditions, deadlines, and processes to ensure a satisfactory and transparent shopping experience.

Warranty Period

  • The parts supplied are covered by a one-year warranty from the date of invoice, unless otherwise stated on the invoice.
  • This warranty covers manufacturing defects only. Parts subject to wear and tear are excluded.
  • If a defective part is covered by the warranty, IMOP will replace it at no cost to the customer.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

  • The warranty will be void in the following cases:
    • If the serial numbers or product labels have been tampered with or removed.
    • If the product has been damaged due to accidents, improper transportation, incidents, improper handling, or unauthorized modifications.
    • If the product has been assembled or used incorrectly.
  • For any claim, the customer must contact IMOP within the warranty period, providing proof of purchase and a description of the defect.

Claims for Damage During Delivery

  1. The customer must inspect the material upon receipt. If there is visible damage to the material or packaging:
    • They must be noted on the delivery note at the time of delivery.
    • The claim must be reported to IMOP within 24 hours of receipt.
  2. Claims made after this period or without a note on the delivery note will not be accepted.

Returns of Materials

  1. Returns must be requested within a maximum period of 15 calendar days from the invoice date.
  2. The material must be in perfect condition for sale, including:
    • Original packaging.
    • Seals and labeling intact.
  3. Returns of used, tampered with, or damaged materials will not be accepted.
  4. To process a return:
    • It is mandatory to contact IMOP in advance to obtain authorization for a return or refund.
    • The subscription number must appear on the outer packaging of the product.

Assembled Equipment

  1. Returns of assembled equipment will only be accepted if:
    • They have been assembled by IMOP’s specialized technicians.
    • The assembly was carried out by technicians qualified in public works machinery.
  2. Returns will not be accepted in the following cases:
    • If they were purchased as individual parts.
    • If its components were not supplied by IMOP.
    • If the assembly does not meet the required specifications.

In these cases, the customer must follow the standard return process.

Refunds

  1. The refund will only be processed if the return meets all the conditions set out in this policy.
  2. The payment period will be 15 business days from the validation of the return by IMOP.
  3. The customer shall bear the shipping costs associated with the return, except in cases of shipping errors or manufacturing defects.

Disclaimers

  1. IMOP shall not be liable for:
    • Damage to machinery, equipment, or personnel resulting from the improper use of the parts supplied.
    • Labor, transportation, or installation costs for parts replaced under warranty.

Policy Changes

IMOP reserves the right to modify this policy at any time without prior notice. Modifications will apply only to purchases made after the update date.

Applicable Legislation

This policy is governed by Spanish law. In the event of a dispute, the parties shall submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Arganda del Rey, Madrid, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction.
